Well I am finally updating my blog. Did anyone miss me??? LOL Sorry for disappearing this past year and a half. I can't believe it has been that long!! I have been through so much though....major surgery last year and changing jobs just a couple of months ago. I have missed stamping so much! I do hope to jump back in with both feet. I ordered alot of the new goodies and they should arrive tomorrow!! So I hope to post a new card Saturday and maybe even a scrapbook page Sunday. I have some ideas that I have been tossing around since I ordered all the new stuff!!! I definitely have the itch!! The bad news is I have to work Saturday....so bare with me if I run behind a bit. I feel a bit rusty with the small changes I have made so far :-) I can't even imagine uploading pictures :-)

Just a quick update!!! First and foremost Linda won the Flight of the Butterfly Set and she has already received her set again sorry for not posting sooner. Thank you so much sweetie for your order!!!

Also, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am attending Leadership this year!!! I leave tomorrow!! Whew I am already tired just thinking about it. I still have a few more cards to make for swapping :-) I know, I know nothing like waiting until the last minute!!! LOL

The good news...I will have lots of pictures and I also have a new scrapbook page (Winter Wonderland) to show you when I get back!! I hope to post again this Saturday!!! I am supposed to be rejuvenated however, after the holidays, going to Nashville to visit family and now my trip to Orlando....I think I am due for another vacation!!! LOL Not going to happen *sigh* I am saving for a vacation to Rhode Island this summer and hopefully maybe Convention!!! We will see :-)

I am looking forward to getting back to blogging and visiting my blogging pals :-) I miss you gals :-) Have a great week!!!

Good Evening! I am just loving this weather! It puts me in the mood for the holidays! So far we have just received some snow flurries....we will see what Thursdays brings us! I am definitely ready for snow baby!!!

I guess that is what inspired this card! I hadn't had a chance to play with these lovely felt snowflakes. I LOVE them! If you haven't tried them you are definitely missing out! I can feel a scrapbook page forming....LOL So stay tuned! TFL!!!

Good Evening everyone :-) Sorry it has been so long since I have posted to my blog. Thank you all so much for your kind emails. All is well, just been busy and dealing with alot. I know I am looking forward to the holidays and I am registered to go to Leadership this year! I am very excited since this will be my first! I just got back last weekend from regionals in Virginia Beach. I had so much fun! I will be showing pictures of the projects we made down through the week.

For this evenings card, I made it a several weeks ago when I finally received my top notch die. I just LOVE this set set from Stampin Up even though it is retired! I hope you like it too!!

Good Afternoon! ? Or more like evening?? LOL I am just glad that the day is almost over! It has been the longest day ever! *sigh* Anyway, I was awarded another award by my sweetest friend Tessie from Mountaineer Stamper! She is just the sweetest! She is also very talented. I developed a head cold yesterday. Thank goodness for ZiCam....that stuff is wonderful! I am feeling so much better now but I still am suffering from congestion.

Good Morning!! I was going to wait and post this one tomorrow, but I really like how it turned out! I used the new Halloween Frights and Frightful Fence from the upcoming Holiday Mini!! This is really a very cute set! That owl is just too cute!! The only image missing was a cute spider so I had to use the one from Batty For You :-)

For those who may not know, I have a scrap nite that works just like my card buffet nite. Those who are into scrapbooking can come and make the scrapbook pages you see here. Everything is precut they just stamp and put it together! If anyone is interested in buying these kits please let me know. I would be happy to provide a mail service for you! Good Afternoon!! This past week has been very busy!! I went to Taste of Home Cooking show this past week. Wow! I have been several times, but I always have so much fun! If you get a chance to go....definitely go! The price of the ticket pays for the magazines that you get, plus they always give out lots of great prizes!! A good friend of mine (hey Marsha!!) actually won of the dishes they cooked, it came in a beautiful bowl!!

Work has been keeping me on my toes as well :-) It seems like there is always some kind of drama going on :-) *sigh* only 11 years until retirement!! LOL

I had my first Christmas Stamp A Stack this past friday! We had so much fun even though we were just a small group! I just LOVE making Christmas cards!! I am so looking forward to Christmas!! :-)

Okay, I was actually so tired yesterday. I slept until 11:30!!! I NEVER sleep that late! I was afraid I might be coming down sick, but I guess my body was just trying to get caught up on sleep:-) I even took a nappie around 1:00 and slept for another hour or so! LOL I know I am so sad :-) The good news is I got in the mood to scrapbook! I haven't been able to stop! LOL So definitely stay tuned this week because I have another three layouts to share with you!!

I just LOVE how this scrapbook page turned out! As soon as I seen the scrapbook sketch challenge this week on splitcoast, I just knew I was going to use this set, Winter Post! I am not sure if you can tell but I used clear iridescent ice embossing powder on the ice rink...perfect in real life! If you have any questions just let me know!!

Good Morning! It has been awhile! Life has been crazy the past couple of weeks :-) The only stamping I have done is for the a two swaps I am in for the Great Girls Swaps! I just LOVE swapping with them.

Anyway, for today's card I know it isn't a Stampin Up stamp. However, who can pass up Fluffles??? He is such a cutie!! I was lucky when I found this at Michaels several weeks ago and got 40% off to boot! Anyway, I am not sure you can tell, but the used a clear sparkle pen on the ornies and edged all around the ornie cuttlebug embossing folder. Very sparkly in real life.

I actually did these cards Wednesday evening, however I didn't get a chance to post them until today! I had so much fun with this sketch challenge!! My card base is 4.5 x 4.5. Good Morning!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday! Mine was okay for a Monday, just busy, busy, busy!! The Fall Semester starts next week, so our office has been hopping, with the worse starting next week. They started construction around our building this week as well, which has made parking a pain! LOL I am all about routine and just a tad OCD....so I have been a bit out of sorts! LOL Oh well, I will live :-)

I actually have been working with all my new stuff...I have been working on a Great Girls Swaps! I am happy to say the worse is over! LOL I need to order some more ribbon and put them together and I am done! Yeah!!! Of course I went and signed up for another one for the new upcoming holiday mini... LOL!! Swaps can be sooo addicting!! I LOVE them, and I just LOVE swapping with the Great Swap Girls! They are the best!!

Okay, for todays card....I actually did this one a couple of weeks ago. It was for one of the sketch challenges over on splitcoast! I always hestitate when triangles, diamonds, etc are involved. I am not sure why....but it was actually a fun easy card to put together!! TFL!!!

I just love all the new checked, striped designer paper!! Don't you just love this gingham paper?? I am also in LOVE with Riding Hood Red! I still can't decide on Kiwi Kiss :-) I haven't even touched Tangerine Tango....I may try this one this evening, maybe with the Autumn Harvest set! I can't believe this set made it into the new cattie!!! This is one of my all time favorite sets :-)

Anyway, I made this card for the Great Swaps Girls challenge GSGC11. All you needed to do was use three embellishments. I used brads, ribbon and buttons! Hey Everyone :-) As some of you may or may not know....I am on vacation! I haven't spent much time on the computer. What little time I was on it was spent over at splitcoast stampers! I am so thrilled to finally have the new cattie!! My first is almost fine tuned as I eagerly await for Monday to order!! Yeah!! I am excited to start really making Fall and Christmas cards!!!

Anyway, I wanted to post my card for Kristina's Color Inspiration challege! I really LOVE how my card turned out....though I am not sure how I feel about the green galore. It is definitely not my color :-) However, I am really hooked on her challenges!! I am getting alot more comfortable with color challenges!!

Good Morning!! Sorry I haven't posted in the past few days. I was actually sick this past weekend. I slept so much it scared me! LOL I was still feeling rough around the edges yesterday, however I am doing oh so much better today!

Good Morning!!! Yeah it is Friday!! My new hostess clubbers are coming over this evening! We don't officially start until next month but I wanted to have a special evening with them! I don't want to say too much....more on that tomorrow!!!

LOL I always get confused as to what is cased and inspired!! Anyway, I have admired Jessie for awhile now and as you can tell I really liked her card!!! Good Morning!! *sigh* I am glad it is Thursday, I am looking forward to the weekend!! I can't say I have any plans, but I am looking forward to relaxing and finishing organizing my stamp area!!

I do have plans to read the third book in the Stephanie Meyer series....Eclipse. Okay, this is usually not my type of book...of all things Vampires!! LOL However, I was reading about the hype and thought why not try the first one. I am really quite impressed! She is a very good writer and it isn't blood and gore or scary. It is just a really good all around story that happens to about Vampires :-) It really is light and easy reading....at least for me.

Okay on for today's card. This is for Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge. I just LOVE this color combo! I have never been a big fan of Sage Shadow...however, it is simply wonderful in this color combo!! I sponged just about everything. I also used Versamark on the Background stamps Floral and Sanded and then daubed a pink Pearl Ex all over. It gives it a real nice shine...though the picture doesn't really do it justice!

Good Evening!! I thought I would post this evening since I won't be able to post in the morning. I have to go to Columbus for training for my "real" job:-) I can only dream of stamping full time!!

Anyway, I really LOVE how this card turned out. It has that shabby chic look!! I must say though I used one of Stampin' Kubs card sketches. I just LOVE his blog. His cards are amazing....plain and simple....but amazing! If you get a chance check his blog out!!! You won't be disappointed!! I used the new Bella Designer that is coming out and the new stamp set called Dreams du Jour . All the edges have been sponged with chocolate chip. I also cut out most of the flowers and vines! I guess it wouldn't be "my" card unless I did!! LOL I hope you like it!!! Have a great Wednesday!! TFL!!!

Good Morning!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was so so. My dear hubby, bless his heart, had good intentions, but it seems it always causes me more work! LOL He decided to change our family room around and of course that is where my stamping area is set up. I must admit it does look better and doesn't seem as cramped. *sigh* However, he called to reassure me that he put everything back where it belonged. Do you think he did? Oh my, not even close! LOL So no stamping for me this weekend. I finished up last night so at least I can sit and stamp. However, I still have some organizing to do. I LOVE him so much, but if he touches my stamping area again.....well I don't even want to think about it! LOL

The other big event was my air conditioning once again *sigh*. He didn't arrive at my house until aroung 9:30 that night. Bless his heart, it was soo hot! Hopefully this will be the last of the drama with air. When it rains it pours! But I know that....this too shall pass. My favorite passage of late :-)

Anyway, enough of that and on to today's card! I wish I could remember where I seen this sketch challenge. It is written down somewhere...LOL. Anyway, I used the new Bella Designer Paper and In Colors! Ladies, I don't mean to be negative, but I seriously doubt I will use much of the Kiwi Kiss. I did use it on this card, but I wish I had used a different green. I do LOVE Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette!!! I still have to play with the others, hopefully this week!!!

I know I know.....two posts for today! LOL However I am excited to show this card. It only uses the new Designer Paper but I just LOVE how this card turned out!! I definitely love the in colors red and pink. I can't decide how I feel about the green. Time will tell :-)

Anyway, I did use the new scallop punch....oh my! It is wonderful!!! It is a breeze to use!! This is a definite must on a first order :-) I also LOVE the Bella Designer Paper :-) I am very happy with my preorder!!

Good evening!!! Better late than never, I guess! LOL Actually the cord to my laptop short circuited. So I have been without a computer until late this evening. It seems like it is always something *sigh* :-)

Anyway, I took an online class back in June (Got Sketch 101)and this was one of the make n takes that they shared with us. The "boy" page is almost an exact case. I changed the colors and used Jersey Shore Designer Paper. I couldn't resist making a girl page as well. I thought they turned out way too cute!! I just LOVE that picture of my nephew :-) He is a definite cutie pie!! You can't tell from my picture but he has blue eyes.

I also have some good news to share... Martine has a blog called Inspirational and she contacted me a bit ago and wanted to feature one of my cards! Of course I said yes! Good early,early morning!! :-) I couldn't sleep, so I thought I stamp! Yeah for me :-) I have been thinking all day about kwerner's color inspiration challenge and this is what I came up with!! I really LOVE the colors combination and I of course used my all time favorite set Embrace Life. It came together wonderfully! I usually struggle with color challenges. I think this one was easy because of the fallish colors:-) Anyway, the stitching you see is from the InStitchz template by Bazzil. I have had these for abit and never got around to playing with them until I seen the picture of the bedding! I LOVE it!! I am looking forward to playing with the other templates this weekend!!

Hello again :-) Now for todays card! I really LOVE how this card turned out. I also love this sketch! It seems like forever since I have taken the time to stamp....so I ended up reaching for my favorite stamp set...Embrace Life. I used my nesties to cut out the oval and scalloped oval. The image has been watercolored and then I used dimensionals to make it pop up from the card. It was a nice easy card :-)

I have several ongoing projects, if I can just sit down and finish them! A have two scrapbook pages, and two new projects that are in the works:-) I have to have them finished this weekend though...my preorder is scheduled for delivery this Monday!! Perfect timing....I am so ready to play with new stuff!! I can hardly wait to see the new in colors!! I hope to have all kinds on new pic's to show you next week!!!

Good Friday Morning!! I am so glad it is Friday!! LOL I am actually going home early today as well! I am so looking forward to the weekend. Tonight I have a Purse class, so I am definitely looking forward to seeing some of my ladies! I have almost finished the new Janet Evanovich book Fearless Fourteen! It is too funny this time. I just LOVE her books :-) I then plan on stamping to my hearts content...I have a couple of scrapbook pages I want to finish so hopefully I will have some new pictures to share with you at the beginning of the week!

I just LOVE how today's card turned out! I really like Elegent Eggplant and Old Olive together as well :-) I cut out the corner flower and used to dimensionals to make it pop! I also cut out a couple of the leaves as well. I think the card turned out too cute!!

Good Morning!! I don't know about you gals, but I will be so glad to see the weekend! I am having one of those weeks where you stay busy as a bee and then at the end of the day you don't feel like you have accomplished anything! *sigh* I am so hoping the weekend will be much better :-)

Anyway, todays card is for the color challenge over at splitcoast CC171!! I usually don't participate in the color challenges....for some reason I find them difficult and frustrating! LOL Go figure!! However, this card just kinda came together....I LOVE when the happens! I really love this color combo, so I am sure that had something to do with it as well!! I took this picture late last night so it isn't the best. Sorry about that! I wish you could see how pretty it is in real life! I used a glitter pen to outline the butterfly details....it added so much! Anyway, I hope you like it!! Have a great day all!!!

Good Morning!! I have two posts today! Today's card and then a cute nugget box!! I have so many friends that have birthdays this summer! It is like every other week from now through August! LOL No complaints though, I am truly blessed!!

Anyway, today's card is of course a birthday card! I just LOVE this Pretty Peony set! I also love the color combo in the Le Jardin paper! I used my nestablities to cut the circle and scalloped circle. I also used the En Fracias background stamp on the So Saffron circle. This was the best picture I could get :-) Thanks for looking!!

Good Morning!! Sorry, I wasn't able to post over the weekend....ended up being busy, busy!! I did get a chance to stamp today's card!! It is for Beate's weekend challenge! I just LOVE her challenges!! I still have yet to try her color inspiration challenges....we will see :-)

Anyway, I went for the shabby chic look! I am so going to miss this years retired colors....and the Afternoon Tea Design Papers *sigh* This is a nice easy layout. As you can probably tell I sponged everything! LOL Also, the vine on the right side of the card has been cut out! Very tedious but it really pops in real life!! The background is a cuttlebug embossing folder. This is the first time I inked up the folder and then embossed my card stock! LOVE the look!! What have I been waiting for??? LOL If you haven't tried this technique, give it a try!!

Today's card is for the sketch challenge over at Splitcoast!! At first I wasn't going to do it. I guess I am not a big fan of the diamonds! :-) However, I started playing around and this is what I came up with....I think it turned out cute! I haven't used my Fun Pun set much and I have definitely been missing out! LOL I really LOVE this set!!!

Now for some wow news! I was so thrilled when Jessie sent me an email on Sunday asking if I would like to be the featured swapper on the Great Swaps Girls site!! Of course I said yes! Good Morning!! I sure do hope everyone is having a great week and staying cool! *whew* it has been very hot and humid!!! It is supposed to rain and cool off tomorrow (though we are getting rain now). I will be soooo glad....I just do not care for the humidity! Yuck and double Yuck!! LOL

I was hoping to work on some scrapbook pages last night....but my honey had other ideas! LOL I did get a chance to make a couple of cards for the technique lovers challenge over on splitcoast. I was surprised how easy these are to make!! I actually made two! I will post the other at the end of this post. This one is a little plain but it was my first one!! Today's card is for the Great Swaps Girls challenge GSGC06. We were to pick a card from the Mini Occasions catalog and case it! I chose the one on page 21 top, right corner. I changed the stamp set and than amazingly enough just one of the colors and then switched them. I think it turned out soooo pretty! I just LOVE this bird!! I of course watercolored him :-) I even added the stitching down the side!! Too cute huh??

Good Morning!!! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Mine has been good. I am definitely looking forward to the weekend though. I have card buffet tomorrow night and I am looking forward to seeing everyone! It feels like forever since I have had an event. Though my hostess clubbers did meet last Friday! I don't really have a lot planned for the weekend so hopefully that will mean I will get a chance to stamp and scrapbook :-)

Well the weekend didn't go as planned, but still a great weekend! My hostess club met Friday evening. It was great!! I hadn't seen some of the ladies in several weeks and I definitely missed them!! I can't tell you how lucky I am...I feel I have the best group of ladies, they are all wonderful!! Let's see then on Saturday I had unexpected company and then of course date night with my dear hubby that evening. We saw Indiana Jones and Ironman. Indy was good....I really hated how old they portrayed Harrison Ford...but alas I guess he is getting on in years! LOL In away the movie made me feel old too! Oh well, but other than that it was good:-) Ironman...well it was okay, I actually thought I would fall asleep! Not really my type of movie and I have never really cared for Robert Downey Jr...now or back in the 80's (yeppers I am an 80's girl!! :-)) However all in all it was a nice date night!!

Since we didn't get in until 2am, I slept in Sunday! Then I spent the rest of the day stamping!! It was great!! However, the internet was down in our area so I couldn't post. Which is probably a good thing because I wasn't able to surf the net ( a time consuming activity as you all know).

Anyway, todays card is for Beate's weekend challenge WSC50! I have really missed participating in her challenges! I really LOVE how this card turned out!! I was in the mood for something summery!! I am really going to miss this paper when it retires! *sigh* I just love how the flowers turned out and the pearls just add that something extra, don't cha think?? :-)

Happy Friday everyone!! I am so looking forward to this weekend! I plan on stamping, stamping and then stamping some more! LOL My only other plan is a date night with my hubby! He wants to go to the drive-in....Iron Man (yuck!) and then Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford ...oh my ;-)) LOL Oh well, there will lots of stamping time!

Finally, I am back! This month has been extremely hectic, but I believe I am caught up! Thank you so much for prayers, kindness and patience. My dear hubby Gene is doing well, though he will have to go through a bunch of tests the next couple of weeks. Once again thank you so much for your prayers :-)

As some of you may know I work full time at a University so between classes ending, graduation, summer semester and out of town meetings....work has been keeping my on my toes. After tomorrow I will be back on schedule. *whew*

Stamping related... my best friend is getting married! So I made her 100 invitiations this month and then I committed to my first swap with the Great Swap Girls!! Now that they are done...I should have plenty of stamping time for just me and of course updating my blog:-)

I actually made this card a couple of weeks ago and just now had a chance to upload it! I bought this stamp set last minute...I really do LOVE it!! It is just too cute!! I hope you like it!! Have a great weekend!!

Good Morning everyone!! It is Thursday!!! Thursday's are pretty wonderful...Survivor and Lost is on TV tonight. It is the day before Friday!! Plus a couple of girlfriends (Hey Karen, Tessie and Barb!!!) are planning a road trip on Saturday!! We are going to Cincinnati!! I LOVE our road trips!! An entire day of shopping, laughing and just having the best fun! Wahooo!!

Anyway :-)....today's card is for the splitcoast sketch challenge SC174. I believe this is the first large card I have made. I usually stick to the normal size or smaller. I am not sure how I feel about how "size". I do LOVE the colors! The yellow ribbon (fairy tale) goes perfect!! This is also my favorite hostess level 2 set ...Infinite goodness!! Good Wednesday Morning!! I have two cards to share with you today!! Only by accident though :-) I was working on my card for the Great Swaps Girls sketch challenge and printed the sketch out...and came up with the top card (ruby red). So I go to post last night and realized I used the same set as Jessie. Sorry Jessie, but don't you just love this set?? :-) Anyway, I felt I needed to make another card! I had fun making both...but the bloomin beautiful card is my favorite!! My DH likes the Live your dream card best. I watercolored the bloomin beautiful image and the bee. The bee has been pop dotted, I really like how it stands out on the card. For the flowers from the Live Your Dream set I used a blender pen and reinkers to apply the color. I then cut the flower out and trimmed the stems and then used dimensionals so they pop off the card. Enjoy!!! Have a great day everyone!!!

Good Morning!! Today is going to be a busy day for me! I have a Dr Appt this afternoon and then I need to finish prepping for my card buffet this Friday night! *whew* I am just tired thinking about it!! :-)

Anyway, today's card is for the Monday Technique Lover's challenge TLC166 over at splitcoast! I really enjoyed making this card! I just LOVE how all the colors came out! I used Versamark on the En Francais background stamp and then dabbed Gold Pearl Ex over it. Sorry for the poor picture quality but I had the hardest time trying to get a good picture because of the gold glimmer! LOL I hope you like it!!

Good Morning!! First for the bad news....I am having trouble loading my tutorial to my PC :-( My dear hubby had to work last night, so he supposed to help me tonight. So (crossing fingers), I am hoping to post it in the morning. Okay now for the good news!! I have been accepted to join the Great Swaps Girls!! I am so thrilled to be a part of this group!! Okay, for today's card....I didn't realize it until I uploaded the card this morning, but it reminds me of my card from yesterday! Hhmmm....sorry about that! I do LOVE how the flowers turned out though....they remind me of magnolias! I stamped the flower on white confetti paper and then sponged sahara sand around the edges and a dab in the middle. Good Morning!! This week seems to be going by sooo fast! Some days there just isn't enough hours in the day! LOL I have scrap nite this friday and I am looking forward it!! Anyway, I just LOVE how todays card turned out! I have been wanting this stamp set (Wonderful You) for awhile now!! I am so glad I finally got it!! A nice easy layout!! Just about everything has been distressed using the cutter kit. The flowers have been watercolored and then cut out! I also used the white gel pen to enhance the center. Good Morning!! It is such a pretty spring day today! Way to pretty to be at work or even indoors. We have had so much rain my yard is a total mess! We will definitely be working in the yard the next couple of days :-)
Anyway, I can't remember where I seen this sketch...probably splitcoast! At first I thought this was a pretty neat sketch, but when I went to put the card together I struggled with it! It just seemed a bit bare until I wheeled forever flowers across the bottom of the card. I just love this wheel and stamp set, Together Forever. I may have never bought this set if it wasn't for one of my best friends getting married!! (Hey Nettie!!) For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the Designer Paper I used! LOL I know it is retired....arrrgggg.....sorry, it is terrible getting old! LOL
I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful emails about the Carousel Pouches!! Stay tuned...I will be posting my first tutorial on how to make these!! Yeahhh!! I am a bit nervous, so just bare with me :-) I hope to have it posted this Thursday!! I will also be giving away a couple of them (of course, filled with treats!!) so make sure you check back!!

Aren't these the cutest ever??? I just LOVE how these turned out! I seen these carousel pouches on one of the ladies who went on the SU cruise!! ( I am sorry, but I don't remember her website) She used the new owl set that will be coming out in August!!! Too cute, I can hardly wait to order it!! It did take a little trial and error to get the dimensions right, but they were so worth it!! They are very quick and easy!!!

Good Afternoon everyone!! I think (I hope) I am finally back!! I have been working on some new projects so I should have several new items to share with you this week! I tell you it feels next to impossible to get caught back up after missing a couple of days!! LOL

Good Friday Morning!! Please accept my apologies for disappearing the past week! It has been one longggg week :-) I cannot begin to tell you how glad I am that it is finally friday! Last weekend was super busy...unexpected family. I even took Monday off to recoup, but came down sick. So sick, I actually went to see the Doctor!! LOL I didn't actually start to feel better until yesterday evening. *whew* I am so glad that is over :-) Between getting caught up at work, hostess club and the purse class tonight, I haven't had any time! Can you believe I haven't stamped in a week?? LOL I think I am suffering from withdrawals!! I am soooo looking forward to this weeks challenges...lots of ideas are brewing!!! I should be back on my regular schedule after tonight!!! Also, I know it may be a bit early, but I am going to give away my first blog candy!!! I will post the details tomorrow!!!

Good Friday Morning!! I hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful weekend!! Mine is going to be super busy!! If I get any stamp time in...it will be very late at night. *sigh* That is the way it goes sometimes :-) I may need to take Monday off to recoup!! LOL

Anyway, today's card is for the Splitcoast sketch challenge SC171. I know, I know...once again I have used the Embrace Life set and Afternoon Tea Designer paper!! The good news is I have some great new sets coming!! I can hardly wait!! :-) Today's card is fairly simply....cutting out the leaves was a bit tedious, of course :-) But again, sooo worth it!! Good Morning!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!! At least it is starting to look and feel like Spring!!! If it could just stay this way for several months....*sigh* I am not a big fan of summer :-) I detest the humidity!! LOL

Anyway, speaking of spring...these are the scrapbook pages I came up with for the SBSC134 challenge over at Splitcoasts!! I wish you could see the pages in real life...much prettier! LOL I did add my own second page :-) I LOVE this stamp set Blooming with Love. A perfect Spring set!! Of course there is a lot of watercoloring and cutting out!! It is already so pretty outside this morning! It looks like it is going to be a gorgeous spring day!! What a wonderful way to end the weekend!

Today's card is for the splitcoast Wednesday Sketch challenge SC170. I just LOVE these challenges! I can't believe it took me so long to discover them! LOL Anyway, I used two of my favorite techniques....watercoloring and embossing! I embossed the leaves from the Embrace Life set with basic black craft ink and clear embossing powder, and then I watercolored the leaves with River Rock. Using the same stamp set I stamped two of the flower images in Ruby Red and then cut out each of the tiny flowers and sponged the edges with Ruby Red! Very tedious!!! LOL But I don't mind...it was sooo worth it! :-) Also, I used my tweezers to hold the tiny flowers while I sponged them! It kept my hands ink free!! I think everything else is fairly straight forward! If you have any questions just let me know!! I hope everyone has a wonderful, peaceful Sunday!!

It's Weekend challenge time again....

Here is my card for Beate's Weekend challenge WSC42! I was a little hesitant when I saw the sketch...but once I got started, I really enjoyed it! I believe this is the prettiest card I have ever made :-) I used the paper tole technique on the right flower and the left leaf. The second picture shows a closeup of the layers. Sorry the picture isn't very clear, but it was the best one I could get! It should give you an idea of what I did! If you have any questions just let me know. The roughest part was starting out...it took several tries before I was satisfied with my watercolor image! Then I cut out my image out with my nestabilites. The bloom sentiment and bloom definition is embossed with vanilla embossing powder. I stamped the large always artichoke layer with the En Francais background stamp using versamark. Then I colored over it with elegant eggplant chalk. I believe that just about covers everything! I hope you like it!! Have a great Saturday!!!

Good Morning!! I am soooo glad it is Thursday!! It has been a long week:-) I am really looking forward to the weekend! I have been so good...I kept up all my housework (including laundry!!) and I am just about ready for card buffet tomorrow night! I am really looking forward to seeing all my wonderful ladies! Good Morning!!! I had such a great productive weekend!! I did get my days and nights a bit mixed up though!! LOL No complaints though, I got some great stamping time in....what can be better than that?? Hopefully, this week will be nice and easy! I have a card buffet scheduled for Friday evening but if I stay on schedule, there should be no pressure! LOL I am really hoping to participate in each challenge over at splitcoasts this week! I just checked out today's and it looks like a real fun one!Anyway, for today's card!! These colors are found in the Simply Scrappin Kit...Tie the Knot. I read where someone said Kraft was one of the colors, but I used Saraha Sand. I really LOVE this color combo!! It really is an elegant combination!! A nice easy card!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday! Mine is very quiet and peaceful! My dear hubby has to work all day. So that leaves me home alone :-) I will be trying very hard not to take a nap today! LOL I definitely have my days and nights mixed up! I was up most of the night last night scrapbooking and card making! I did this for the scrapbook challenge on splitcoast. I did add my own second page! The only thing I am not happy about is the title! Though I must admit it looks much better in person than the photo you get to see :-) All in all....I LOVE it!! The Summer Picnic Designer Paper is YUM-O!!! I also LOVE this color combo!! The die-cut blooms add that perfect touch!! Okay, I just finished typing the recipe section and had to come back and add....I didn't realize there isn't any stamping or ink used on these pages!! LOL Wow...talk about super easy, huh?!!! :-)

I can't believe how tired I was this morning!! Not only did I sleep in, but I took a nap this afternoon!! LOL I am so sad. However, I can't tell you how much better I feel! After waking up I thought I would check out Beate's Weekend Challenge!! I have posted a pic of the sketch. I can't tell you how much I look forward to these!! Anyway, I was in the mood to watercolor so I pulled one of my favorite sets...Heartspeak (retired). I just LOVED this set when it came out and was sad to see it go so soon. It is one of the few sets that I bought just for me without much intention of demonstrating :-) It turned out soooo pretty!! I have been on such a kick using our designer paper!! I can't stop using it! LOL I must admit I wasn't that impressed once I received this paper, but once I started using it....I just LOVE the combination of colors!! Good Morning!!! I am sooo tired this morning!! I stayed up wayyy past my bedtime! LOL I am definitely looking forward to Sunday so I can sleep in!! I am working on a very, very cute project. It still isn't done, but ohhhh la laaaaa when it is done! :-) Just a bit of tease....until then!! LOL

Today's card is a pocket card made using the pre-cut wild wasabi textured cardstock! I think it turned out sooo CUTE! Isn't the Summer Picnic Designer Paper Yum-o!!! As of late I have been cleaning my area as I work....but I am sooo glad I didn't this time! As I was putting together the inside card I kept moving the scraps out of my way; as I was reaching to finally throw them away I thought hhmmmmmm...and viola! I added a couple to my card!! I just LOVE how this card turned out!! I made this card for the Try a New Technique Challenge over at Splitcoast!! It is a flap fold card. These challenges are sooo addicting!! LOL I was up until 12:30 am finishing this card! Can you believe it?? Actually, the only reason it was so late was because of my picture taking skills (or lack of :-)) and then downloading it, putting my watermark, etc. Anyway, once I got started I just couldn't stop until it was finished!! As you can see I have once again used the Afternoon Tea Designer Paper!! I promise I can't help myself! LOL It seems I am always reaching for this paper! Good Morning!! Can you believe the week is half over?? This week is going by fast :-) I have sooo much to do....my hostess club meets this friday evening and then I have my Recipe Book class on Saturday! Plus I am hoping to have my first tutorial this weekend ....*whew* :-)

Anyway, I have received a couple of RAK's and haven't had a chance to post them! Today's is from Kay. I haven't met Kay yet, we are going to be roomies this year at the SU Convention in Salt Lake City!!! This is my first year and I am so excited about going!! Thank you Miss Kay!! I love this stamp set and I love how you sponged in the oval!!! I will be sending you a card out by the end of week sweetie!!

Good Morning!! Early, early morning!! LOL I couldn't sleep so I thought I would try Beate's weekend challenge and laundry! It usually takes me awhile to wind down after an event. Hopefully, I will be sleeping in.... :-)

Anyway, moving on to today's card! I think this card turned out so pretty!! I just love this color combo! Whatever will I do when these colors retire??? LOL I just realized tonight as I was going through my ever growing pile of SU Designer Paper that I did in fact have Porcelain Prints!! I started to order it a couple of times and would take it off at the last minute! How awful am I?? LOL The card is fairly straight forward. I sponge around the edges of the flower with the Blue Bayou and I used my nestabilities for the circle and scalloped circle. I felt SU's wasn't quite big enough...I sure do wish they would come out with some bigger sizes! I bet they would sell like hotcakes!!LOL Well, I sure do hope everyone has a great Saturday!!!

Okay, I just realized that my posts today are going to read backwards! LOL Sorry about that! Can you tell I am not a morning person?? :-) Anyway, I feel this card is my very own creation based on the ones below! More so since, I cut out a Ruby Red Carousel note using the brass template and made my very own matching envelope! It was a bit tedious, but so worth it!! :-) Of course, Ginger Blossom is another favorite Designer Paper, which just goes so well with Ruby Red!! I just LOVE how this card turned out!!! I think it turned out soooo pretty!! I hope you like it!!

Good Thursday Morning!!! I had soooo much fun playing last night. Though now I am behind on being set up for tomorrow evening *sigh* I am hoping to have tomorrow off, so we will see! If not, I will be functioning on no sleep! LOL It is so hard to believe Easter is this Sunday!! It just doesn't feel like Easter :-) Well I better get to todays pictures, because believe or not I have three posts for today!!

I cased this card from Linda over at Stamping School, with just a couple of changes! She is simply wonderful and talented!! It does cost $28 a year, but it is so worth it!! If you sign up tell her I sent you!! Anyway, if I understood correctly she got the idea from Leadership this past January. I am soooo definitely going next year!!! I can't believe someone hasn't played around with this idea!!! I LOVE the carousel notes from the Occasions Mini. Also, I have finally had a chance to play with the matching brass template :-) If you have any questions just let me know!!!

Good Morning!! Sorry I don't have any new pic's to show you today. It has been a very busy week for me! I have several cards in progress, just nothing quite finished, photographed etc :-) I should have a card for you tomorrow! Most of my time has been prepping for my monthly scrapbookers!! We meet this friday evening!!

I wanted to thank the ladies who signed up under me during Sale-A-Brations!!! I look forward to getting to know you and working with you!!! Yeah!! There is nothing like being a SU Demonstrator!!! Anyway, THANK YOU!! :-))))
